Taupo Scoria Ltd has one of the only supplies or red scoria in New Zealand, located in the Central North Island, Taupo provides the perfect base to transport our product throughout the North Island.
Our quarry has been in operation since 2004 and is run by brothers, Graham and Bruce Seay.
Graham manages the day-to-day operation of the quarry while Bruce manages Auckland sales alongside his trucking business, Seay Distribution Ltd. Bruce runs a large fleet of late model Kenworth trucks, distributing our product between Auckland and Taupo daily.
Our high-quality aggregate is produced to meet the high demands of the construction sector for roading, drainage and environmental controls as well as for decorative purposes.
Taupo Scoria Ltd operates several loaders and our most recent Cat. 972 Loader is fuel efficient and equipped with a Loadrite weigh system.
A cone crusher and screening plant was imported from China in 2011 to maximise quality, quantity and grade processing.
